Anti-tank variant of theStukadive bomber with an upgraded engine, two 30 mm cannons and the capacity for a 1,000 kg bomb load produced in reaction to the large numbers of armored Soviet tanks that were causing German defeats on the Eastern Front.
The model’s pilot is Hans-Ulrich Rudel, the most successful Stuka ace and most highly decorated German serviceman of the Second World War.
